Match Information

What Is It? The primary purpose of this match is a fundraiser for Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation. All of the profits of this match will be donated to Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation to be used for wildlife habitat improvements in the Midwest. Quail & Upland Wildlife Federation is a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to the wise use and management of America’s wild quail, doves, upland game birds, and other forms of wildlife. 

When Is It? This match is scheduled for April 23 - 25, 2010. The Dooley Gang shooting school, all side matches and a 3 Stage Wild bunch match will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010. There will be six main stages on Saturday, April 24, 2010, and four main stages on Sunday, April 25, 2010. The awards presentation will also be held on Sunday afternoon upon completion of the day’s shooting activities. There will be a Banquet and Auction on Saturday night.

What Else You Need to Know: All the usual cowboy action shooting (CAS) rules will apply unless superseded by any published local rule. Any round over the berm constitutes a Match Disqualification.

The ammo count for the main match will be approximately 100 rifle rounds, 100 pistol rounds, and 50+ shotgun shells. Scoring will be by total time.

All side-matches are included in entry fee, and there will be separate Men’s and Women’s divisions. 

The Saturday night banquet will also include an auction for several western items plus more raffles will be held.
